Visit to the exhibition “Diaghilev and the Golden Age of the Ballets Russes, 1909-1929” at the Victoria and Albert Museum

This exciting exhibition will explore the life and work of Serge Diaghilev and show how his extraordinary company, founded amid the social and political upheavals of pre-revolutionary Russia, transformed ballet in the early twentieth century, combining dance, music and art to create ‘total theatre’. Original costumes and set designs, together with props and posters by artists and designers such as Leon Bakst, Georges Braque, Jean Cocteau and Natalia Goncharova, will reveal how the company caused such a sensation in Europe.

Cost & Booking
The cost of the day is £58 (lunch available at £12). To book, please contact us.
