‘Stately, ancestral and picturesque’, Helmingham Hall has remained in the Tollemache family since it passed to them through marriage in Henry VII’s reign. The  Tudor house, sitting within its wide moat, has been modified and restored over the centuries and the interiors and collections reflect the family’s continuous ownership. From the mid-seventeenth century its history has been linked with that of Ham House
