Visit to the exhibition Masterpieces: Art and East Anglia in the newly-refurbished galleries at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, University of East Anglia

This fascinating exhibition at the splendid Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts at the University of East Anglia will bring together an extraordinary range of objects which celebrate the rich and distinctive artistic heritage of the region from ancient times to the present day. Works will include paintings by Gainsborough, Constable and Cotman, sculpture by Barbara Hepworth and Elisabeth Frink, ceramics, glass, jewellery, photography, graphic design, fashion and costume.

Visit to view the permanent collection housed in Norman Foster’s Sainsbury Centre

The Sainsbury Centre was designed by Norman Foster between 1974 -6 to house the wide-ranging collection of Sir Robert and Lady Sainsbury, which includes sculpture from Africa and the  Pacific region, together with modern works by artists such as Jacob Epstein, Henry Moore, Alberto Giacometti and Francis Bacon.
