This ancient house dates from the thirteenth century when it formed part of a splendid palace belonging to the Bishops of  Norwich. Much remains from this date including some of the earliest domestic wall paintings in Suffolk. The house remains a family home.

A walk in Eye with a private visit to Linden House

Eye is a charming market town full of architectural delights with its castle dating back to 1066, its impressive church of c1470, its late fifteenth-century Guildhall, quaint cottages and an Italianate town hall of 1857. Linden House was converted from its Tudor origins to a fine Georgian townhouse.
