Visit to the Aquatics Centre and the London 2012 Gardens

The London Aquatics Centre has undergone extensive transformation since 2012. Designed by Zaha Hadid in 2004, it was inspired by moving water and mirrors the surrounding riverside landscapes of the Olympic Park. The 2012 Gardens are a fusion of formal and informal plantings, being a tribute to Britain’s long history of exploration, trade and plant collecting.

Visit the viewing platform of the ArcelorMittal Orbit

Symbolising the energy and creativity of London, Sir Anish Kapoor and Cecil Balmond created the concept of an orbit, a continuous line that loops up and back downwards on itself. An icon of the 2012 Summer Olympics, it is the tallest sculpture in England.

Visit to the North Park, the wetland areas and the Velodrome

 The Lee Valley Velopark with its pringle-shaped velodrome was the first venue to be completed in 2011. The roof is designed to reflect the geometry of cycling.
