This three-day visit to Paris has been inspired by the Chateau de Chantilly’s exceptional exhibition, Les Très Riches Heures du Duc de Berry, which is exhibiting the famous monthly calendar pages unbound for the first time, following the restoration of this celebrated Book of Hours.

The visit will include tours of the Musée de Cluny, with its splendid collections of medieval art including the Lady and the Unicorn tapestries, the fabulous collections of paintings and furniture as well as the eighteenth-century interiors of the Chateau de Chantilly and the special exhibition, which celebrates the Duke de Berry’s patronage and love of books.

It is hoped to make a visit to Notre Dame or the Musée Jacquemart-André and the exhibition Georges de la Tour, Realism and Spirituality


Accommodation: The Hotel Malte in central Paris.

The cost of the three-day visit is £1545.00

There is a supplement of £405 for single occupancy

The cost includes:-

    Hotel bed and breakfast accommodation, two dinners
Travel by Eurostar Plus and return rail fare to the Chateau de Chantilly
All entrances and guided tours
Metro travel and taxis where needed
    Background notes
Lunches are not included in the cost
